I make an asston of these every year. They are delicious, and I put them in mason jars and give as gifts. People fight over them at holidays. Here’s the recipe, because I’m a giver like that.

  • Whisk one egg white with a tablespoon of OJ until pretty frothy, just short of soft peaks.
  • Stir in 2/3 c sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. ginger, 1/2 tsp. allspice, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/8-1/4 tsp. cayenne to taste
  • Stir in 3 c. pecans
  • Bake at 275 for 45-55 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until crispy and coated.
