- The weather really isn’t cooperating. I have a party for Hub’s work tonight, and really want to wear a cute dress, but it is COLD! Well, cold for Texas in April, anyway.
- It’s been very rainy and I’m fighting a neverending battle against muddy dog prints. I love my dogs, but I do not love muddy footprints.
- Trying to sell your house with three dogs and four kids is pretty awful. I am super ready for an offer.
- Speaking of which, we had some people who loved our house but could only get approved for an amount that is less than what we wanted out of this place. We had our realtor go back to theirs and tell them to bring us an offer at that amount. We are DONE being here, and hopefully we can just roll with that offer and move on. If not, I’m optimistic that we will have something on the table within a few days. We are the only thing left on the market at our price point and with the amenities we are offering. Plus, we’ve priced this thing low, to move it fast.
- Currently researching what type of livestock we are going to get in our new place. Sheep, donkeys, goats, a horse? I know we are going to have several chickens and probably a rooster, but figuring out what kind or farm animals to get is a big task.Â
- Considering if I should bite the bullet and pay lots of money for the trial transcript from BioMom’s termination trial. I am about to get started on a book, and so much happened that I can’t remember anymore. At a minimum, I need to interview the people that were there.Â
- I need to stop drinking so much wine and beer. I gained back the five pounds I wanted to gain, plus five more. But the booze is currently my coping mechanism for all we have going on.. What to do….
- I am really hoping my husband and I can get through this process without killing each other. I can’t put my finger on what it is about selling our home that’s making us want to claw each other to shreds, but boy howdy! There’s been some humdingers being said around here, and we just don’t fight, it’s so not us.
- Stinky is really doing well homeschooling, but says he wants to go to public next year. I’m not so sure. He specifically wants to go to the local middle school and play football with his buddies around here. Problem is, quite a few of them are entitled little shits and I don’t really want those kids for his friends. I think I’d rather him go to the middle school that feeds into our new house. (At least the house we are hoping to buy.) Guess we will make that decision over the summer.Â
- I need more coffee right now, but I am very cozily snuggled under a cockapoo.
