Family in Motion. This picture was taken June 27th, 2012. Ten days before the trial that terminated Sugar Biscuit’s mother’s rights, and at a time when we didn’t know for sure if he would stay with us, or not. It shows all of us in motion, when Stinky and SB decided to splash the whole lot of us. The only one missing is the Teenager, who was going through a teenager thing and living away from home. Despite her absence, I am so happy when I see this picture, as I remember this moment of joy and laughter clearly. I also love that I am really, really skinny here, even though it was because I was existing on a steady diet of anxiety, fear, and champagne.
