My husband took my kids to dinner and a movie, as he tries to do monthly for Dad’s Night Out (although Dozer is with a darling new boy she met, so she skipped out, but it’s okay because this boy is DAR-LING!). It is quiet, and I ate a whole huge bowl of chopped Asian salad and have a bottle of champs, and I am sewing with no interruptions. Holy Jesus I love being home alone!
