Cautious Optimism

I think we might just be getting into a groove around these parts. All the kids are doing really well, and I’m astounded by Flower’s ability to keep placing one foot in front of the other. She is astoundingly courageous and her grace in the face of a mountain humbles us all.

As for me, I’m exhausted and feeling fat, but without the energy to do anything about it. I’m overwhelmed and distracted, disorganized and forgetful. However, I know it’s all going to be okay. And, I freaking adore my wild, crazy, magical life.

So, in the immortal words of Dory the Fish, we are going to, “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming…”. There’s a rainbow just up ahead.
